Taylor Swift in BalmainThe Billboard Music Awards were hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen, held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (May 17), but the night belonged to Taylor Swift in her white Balmain jumpsuit.

Here is a list of five reasons she owned the BillBoard Music Awards:

1) That Balmain jumpsuit.

Taylor oozed sophistication in a sequined cutout white jumpsuit from Balmain Spring/Summer 2015 - retro and cool, it showed off her super long legs, and made her a real standout on the red carpet! Minimalist and fashion forward.

2) Her posse.

Taylor posed on the red carpet with her girlfriends, who sat with her in the first and second rows - all of them appeared in her new video 'Bad Blood'.

She thanked them in her acceptance speech and happily shared the spotlight... which makes us love her more.

3) Bad Blood, the video.

The wait was finally over! After teasing us with Instagram posts, we finally got to see the finished product.. and it does not disappoint!

The video is innovative, creative, powerful, fun, and stylish.. it has everything.. including girl power. A fantastic message.

4) Calvin Harris.

The smiles, the kisses.. and those hugs for every one of her wins.. you could hear Twitter's collective "awwwwww".

Known for giving her fans so much love, they all want her to find hapiness too!

5) The Awards.

Taylor took home eight awards for 1989, including the major ones -  top artist, top Billboard 200 artist, top Hot 100 artist and top streaming song. And she danced up a storm to every performance, having the best time.

All in all, the 2015 Billboard Music Awards belonged to Taylor Swift... even Molly Ringwald, an original member of Breakfast Club ended up in her club during Simple Minds iconic performance of "Don't You".. what a fabulous night for Taylor.
